Rose valley – Skoura- Ouarzazate - Aitbenhaddou – High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
After a delicious breakfast, set out on the road to explore the Thousand Kasbahs and the Skoura Oasis. Your destination is Ouarzazate, the gateway to the stunning Atlas Mountains. Along the way, visit the magnificent Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, one of the best-preserved fortresses in Morocco. With its red walls, narrow windows, and crumbling towers, this 15th-century trading post is a prime example of traditional architecture. It has also been a popular location for Hollywood films, such as "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Gladiator."
While at Ait Ben Haddou, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the history of this important trading post, as well as see how the local inhabitants make a living from farming and acting as film extras. After your visit, cross the breathtaking Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n‘Tichka pass, taking in stunning views of the snow-capped peaks and Berber villages along the way.
