Fes to Marrakech Sahara Desert Tour 3 days Via Merzouga
This is an awesome Sahara Desert Tour 3 days because the trip connects two imperial cities; Fes and Marrakech. You will cross the middle Atlas Mountains to reach the stunning Sahara dunes of Merzouga. Although you visit a lot of places, the pace is slow enough that you will actually be able to enjoy the sites (not just take a picture and go) and leave room for you to truly experience the Moroccan way of life. It will allow you to experience the Sahara desert dunes and take a camel trek in Merzouga for an hour through the spectacular golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi along with the breathtaking landscapes of High Atlas mountains and Berber villages.
Fes – Ifrane – Azrou –Midelt– Ziz valley- Merzouga.
our diver will be awaiting for you to pick you up from your accomodation in Fes. After having your breakfast, you will leave the imperial city of Fes to start your Sahara Desert Tour 3 days to the sahara desert of Merzouga. You will drive towards Ifrane or what is called “the Switzerland of Morooco” where you will have the chance to take picture beside its symbolic lion, The city is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco, we will stop by to enjoy the fascinating landscapes of this region. We continue to the Middle Atlas Mountains passing through the green lush cedar forest of Azzrou, home of the Atlas monkeys “Aka Barbary Apes”, but pay attention while taking pictures r mokey will steal your Cameras or phone. Our driver will stop for you to see them in their natural habitat before continuing your way to Midelt which is the capital of appels. This city is located between the High Atlas Mountains and Middle Atlas. After lunch break, you will travel along the Ziz Valley Gorge to the edge of the great sand sea in Merzouga. You will ride your camels into the dunes to your Berber desert camp or luxury desert camp before the sunset. You will have a great experience as you watch the sunset and the stars come out. After tiresome & long drive, you will have a very wonderfull night in the desert.
Erg Chebbi – Merzouga- Todgha Gorge- Dades Valley – Rose valley.
You will get up early to watch the sunrise.This would be the best moment of your desert experience. After this beautiful moment, you will once again take the ship of the sahara (your camel) and trek back to your hotel at the edge of the sand sea where breakfast will be served and you will have an opportunity to shower and prepare for the day. On your way to Todgha Gorge, you will stop in Rissani which is known for it big markets where locals buys and seels thier local products in a very amazing way, they also exchange products. you will have the opportunity to search for fossils n Erfoud. Afterwards, we will continue to the highest oasis valley gorge in Morocco which is Todgha gorge. After lunch, you will experience the gorge from above and below. Once in kellaa Mgouna and after welcoming tea, our guide will make a short walk with you to the heart of the Rose valley. Even if the roses are not in bloom, the valley is always wonderful. After the walk in the oasis where you will meet local people picking up olives and figs, you will return to your hotel for the night. After Dinner you will enjoy Berber Music played by the local berbers.
Kellaa Mgouna - Skoura - Ait Ben haddou - Talouet - Tizi n Tichka - Marrakech.
After delicious breakfast, you will head through the road of one thousand Kasbah to the oasis of Skoura where you will visit the Kasbah of Amridil. You will then make your way to Ouarzazate “the Hollywood of Africa” where you will have chance to visit the Kasbah of Touarirt and the film studios. Afterwards, you will continue to reach the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. If this impressive kasbah looks familiar to you, it is because it has starred (or at least made an appearance) in many movies and TV shows such as Gladiator, The Mummy, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. We continue to Talouet village to visit the kasbah of Pasha Glaoui. a Former ruler in French colonisation. There will be plenty of stops for tea and photographs as you travel over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, reaching an altitude of nearly 2260m above sea level. The view of the Berber villages from the above is breathtaking offering an amazing picture shots. You will arrive your riad in Marrakech in the evening.
