Day 01
Fes – Ifrane – Azrou –Midelt– Ziz valley- Merzouga.
Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Fes for a three-day Sahara Desert Tour to Merzouga. After breakfast, you will leave Fes and visit the beautiful city of Ifrane, known as "the Switzerland of Morocco," where you can take photos beside its iconic lion statue. You will then drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through the green cedar forest of Azzrou, home of the Atlas monkeys, before reaching Midelt, the capital of apples. After a lunch break, you will travel along the Ziz Valley Gorge to the edge of the great sand sea in Merzouga. You will then embark on a camel trek to your Berber or luxury desert camp to watch the sunset and spend the night.
Day 02
Erg Chebbi – Merzouga- Todgha Gorge- Dades Valley – Rose valley.
Get up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise, the highlight of your desert experience. After the sunrise, you'll take your camel back to your hotel for breakfast and a chance to freshen up. Your next stop is Rissani, known for its large markets where locals buy and sell their products, and for the opportunity to search for fossils in Erfoud. Then, head to Todgha Gorge, the highest oasis valley gorge in Morocco. After lunch, you'll explore the gorge from above and below, followed by a visit to Kellaa Mgouna. Our guide will take you on a short walk through the heart of the Rose Valley, where you'll meet local people picking olives and figs. Return to your hotel for dinner and enjoy Berber music performed by local Berbers.
Day 03
Kellaa Mgouna - Skoura - Ait Ben haddou - Talouet - Tizi n Tichka - Marrakech.
Enjoy breakfast and then take a scenic drive through the "Road of One Thousand Kasbahs" to the oasis of Skoura. Visit the Kasbah of Amridil before making your way to Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Africa". Explore the Kasbah of Touarirt and the film studios before heading to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a famous location for many movies and TV shows such as Gladiator, The Mummy, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. Continue to the Talouet village to visit the Pasha Glaoui Kasbah and take in the stunning views of Berber villages as you travel over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, reaching an altitude of nearly 2260m. Arrive at your riad in Marrakech in the evening.
