Day 01
Arrival in Marrakech
Upon your arrival at Marrakech Airport, our designated team will greet you and transport you to your accommodation. You'll spend your first night of the 8-day morocco family tour in Marrakech.
Day 02
Marrakech Walking Tour
Your city guide will meet you in the lobby of your accommodation at approximately 9 am to kick off your Marrakech walking tour. You'll start by exploring prominent landmarks such as the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and Koutoubia Mosque. Afterward, you'll wander through the labyrinthine streets of the Medina, exploring various markets.
You'll also visit Jamaa el-Fna, one of the world's most famous and bustling squares. After lunch, your sightseeing will continue with a visit to the modern quarter of Marrakech, where you'll discover the enchanting Majorelle Garden. Your city exploration concludes, and you'll return to your lodging.
Day 03
Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Gorge
Today, you'll depart for Ait Benhaddou Kasbah via the High Atlas Mountains, with stops along the way to admire the mountain scenery and charming Berber villages. Your journey takes you directly to Ait Benhaddou, a historic castle dating back to the 11th century and the largest one in Morocco.
Later, you'll proceed to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the "Hollywood of Africa," where you can visit the largest film studio. Your drive will take you through Skoura oases, the Rose city, and finally to Dades Gorge. You'll be dropped off at your accommodation for the night.
Day 04
Dades Gorge - Todra Canyons - Sahara Desert (Camel Ride & Camp Overnight)
You'll transfer from Dades Gorge to the Sahara Desert via the Todra Canyons. Here, you'll marvel at the towering 312-meter cliffs and witness nomadic families still residing in cave dwellings. Continuing your 8-day family vacation, you'll head to Merzouga, passing through several villages, including Erfoud, known as the "capital of date fruit."
Upon reaching the Sahara Desert, you'll embark on a camel ride, crossing the sand dunes to reach a desert camp. Along the way, you'll have opportunities for photos and enjoy the mesmerizing sunset. Upon arrival at the camp, you'll receive a warm welcome with tea and your private tent key. Dinner will be served at your convenience, followed by a memorable Berber party around a bonfire.
Day 05
Merzouga Exploration (Erg Chebbi Tour)
Before sunrise, your camp host will wake you up to witness the breathtaking desert sunrise and the early morning colors. Your day begins with an immersive desert tour, including visits to nomadic communities in Erg Chebbi, where people still live in tents made of camel wool. You'll also explore an ancient mascara mine, used for eye makeup, and savor a traditional Berber pizza for lunch.
Later, you'll visit a village known for its Gnawa music and learn about the local farmers' irrigation system. Finally, you'll check into your hotel or riad for the night.
Day 06
Sahara Desert - Rissani - Daraa Valley - Ouarzazate
This part of your journey encompasses a diverse range of experiences. It begins in the mesmerizing Sahara Desert, where you'll witness a captivating sunrise over the dunes. Next, you'll explore Rissani, known for its historical significance and vibrant traditional market. As you travel through the picturesque Daraa Valley, you'll encounter lush palm groves and oases amid arid terrain. Finally, your day concludes in Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Africa," offering a blend of cinematic history, unique architecture, and a fusion of traditional and modern Moroccan culture. Day 07
Ouarzazate - Talouat Kasbah - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
Today, your journey takes you to Marrakech via the Talouat Kasbah, situated along the former caravan route. This historic castle has hosted special events, including visits by King Mohammed Fifth. You'll continue your 8-day family vacation, crossing the High Atlas Mountains for the second time, before being dropped off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
Day 08
Marrakech end of The Tour
Your unforgettable 8 days Morocco family tour from Marrakech and the Sahara Desert comes to a close. You'll transfer to the airport for your departure flight, bidding farewell to this remarkable journey and ensuring a safe trip back home.
