Day 01
Arrive at Tangier
We will meet you at the airport or ferry port and we transfer you to local hotel in Tangier. To be ready for the next day to start your Sahara Desert Tour From Tangier.
Day 02
Tangier-Chefchaoun
Today after early breakfast we will our amazing Sahara Desert Tour From Tangier by heading to Chefchaouen - a city with beautiful blue and white-washed colours ,nestled in the Rif Mountains. The town is attractive for tourists with its small alleyways and market squares where women from all region come to sell their handmade crafts. We will take dinner and overnight in local hotel.
Day 03
Chefchaouen Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will have great relaxed day of sightseeing & inspiring stay to wander through narrow streets lined with blue buildings to feel like walking in the sky & discovering another sights, culture, tradition, and way of life by Moroccan locals. Then, you visit the great monuments like Plaza Uta el-Hammam which is lined with cafes and restaurants, a peaceful place to relax and watch the world go by; See kasbah built back to 18th century, a heavily restored walled fortress that now has a lovely garden.You wil have time to visit Grande Mosque(Spanish mosque) built in 15th century by the son of the town’s founder Ali ben Rachid as well as other monuments. Overnight at your hotel/Riad.
Day 04
Chefchaouen – Fes
Today we will travel to Morocco’s most fascinating city - Fes. You will have guided tour of medina with its souks (markets) and winding streets. We will visit the 9th-century Karaouiyine Mosque and University (first university ever built in the world). We will also visit the tomb of the city founder, Moulay Idris II. We will have a lunch in traditional restaurants in old medina. Then we will explore the old city, seeing sights as theNajarine Fountain, Bab Boujloud. Also old harem gardens and the Batha Museum. We will visit also famous tannery. We stay overnight in Fes.
Day 05
Fes – Meknes – Ifrane – Azrou- Merzouga
Today we will depart from Fes to Meknes . First we will visit nearby Volubilis (the remains of a Roman city), also Moulay Idriss. For many Moroccans it is a place of pilgrimage. Meknes is the smallest and friendliest of the imperial cities of Morocco. We will have guided tour of Meknes and we drive from Meknes to Merzouga desert via Erfoud and Rissani. We will ride camels in Merzouga desert to reach desert camp where we spend a night.
Day 06
Merzouga desert
Today we explore the desert area by 4x4. In the afternoon we will ride camels to the desert where we will spend the night in Berber tents. We will watch amazing sunset and we will enjoy Berber music around campfire.
Day 07
Merzouga - Todra Gorge
Early morning we will watch sunrise over desert and after breakfast in desert camp we ride camels back to Merzouga village and then we drive to Rissani to visit local souk. We head to Erfoud ,then in the afternoon, we will walk in the Todra Gorges (300 m high). We stay here overnight in local hotel.
Day 08
Todra Gorge - Marrakech
Today after breakfast we departure to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and we will visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. After lunch here, we will head over the mountains to Marrakech where we explorere Djemaa el-Fna square in medina. It is one of the best attractions of Marrakech. We stay in Marrakech for dinner and overnight in local hotel.
Day 09
Marrakech
Today after breakfast, we will have a guided tour of Marrakech city and we will discover the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs. After lunch we will visit the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and also we explorer narrow streets of medina - souk lined with fresh fruit, spices, Berber carpets and many art products.
Day 10
Marrakech – Essaouira
Today we will spend the morning exploring Marakech by discovering many interesting places as: Koutoubia , the tombs of Saadian , the Bahia Palace, Jemaa el Fna square, the heart of the city famous for its souks. The souks offer an incredible shopping experience. After lunch we will depart to Essaouira to this former Portuguese fishing village. Essaouira is also known as Mogador. It is famous for its annual festival of “Gnaoua music”. Old Portuguese ramparts guard the walled city where you can watch silver craftsmen. We will have dinner and spend the night at a hotel in Essaouira.
Day 11
Essaouira – Safi – El Jadida – Casablanca
Today after breakfast we will depart to Safi. It is main fishing port for the country’s sardine industry. In the afternoon we will drive to El Jadida, which is famous with its beaches. After that we will continue to Casablanca where we will have a dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12
Casablanca – Larache – Asilah – Tángier
Today after short visit of Casablanca’s most interesting places we will drive along the Atlantic coasts to Asilah. It is a small village famous for its artists and fishermen. Its Medina is small and the houses are blue and white painted. After having lunch here we head to Tangier. We will spend this evening exploring the city. Then we enjoy dinner and overnight at a hotel in Tangier.
Day 13
Tangier - End of the Tour
Today we will drop you at the airport or ferry terminal. Thank you for travelling with professional travel company with local guides and drivers.
