Day 01
Marrakech- Atlas mountain- Aitbenhaddou–Kellaa Mgouna -Rose valley
Our adventure begins at 8:00 am with a departure from the red city of Marrakech towards the highest road pass in Morocco, the Tizi-n-Tichka with an altitude of 2260m. This is the perfect opportunity to ride at the foot of the Atlas Mountains while taking magnificent photos as a souvenir of this incredible experience. It is also a chance to explore many Berber villages on the way to the wonderful Kasbah of Telouet. This famous construction belonged to the known character "Thami El Glaoui" who governed the city of Marrakech. The Kasbah bears witness to the luxury where the governor lived with his family, given its architecture and decorative style, which are inspired by a mixture of Berber and Andalusian cultures. This is why the Kasbah of Telouet is the destination of hundreds of tourists and travelers who come to visit it and admire its beauty. Note that unfortunately, some of its parts are totally in ruins, but that does not prevent its majestic presence. Then, the adventure takes us to the discovery of the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. The latter is recognized as patrimony and world heritage by UNESCO. It is also the entrance to the city of Ouarzazate, Hollywood of Morocco where you can admire the various film studios where some well-known movies have been shot, such as The Mummy, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones…
The adventure of the Marrakech to Fes desert tour continues to take you to the road of a thousand and one Kasbah where you will discover the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Kasbah of Amridil, but also the Oasis of Skoura. Then it will be the turn of the discovery of the incredible valley of roses known as Kelaa Mgouna. Day 02
Rose valley-Dades Gorges- Todgha gorge-Tinjdad- Jorf- Arfoud- Erg Chebbi.
After your breakfast, the second day of the Marrakech to Fes desert tour begins. It is the turn of the discovery of the magnificent gorges of Dades and the hills of Tamnalt, these natural rock sculptures that were composed hundreds of years ago by the passage of the Dades River. Then, the path will take you to the Todgha gorges, which are considered to be the highest oasis in Morocco with cliffs whose height reaches 300m. It is, therefore, the ideal place to do the activity of climbing. You have free time to live this experience, as you will find instructors there who will share with you the security measures and will assist you during this climbing session, even if you are only a beginner. This is your opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather and landscapes, blue skies, and delicious lunch. Then, and for more discovery, it will be the turn of the Tinjdad region where you will discover an old irrigation system with its underground canals, called Khettara.
The path continues to cross several oases, such as that of Tinjdad or that of Ziz-Tafilalet and Hamada while crossing Rissani. Afterward, the adventure will take you to the famous desert of Merzouga, which contains the highest sand dunes in North Africa, also known as Erg Chebbi. This is where you will spend the night in a private nomadic tent under the starry sky. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the sunrise and sunset while taking a camel ride, which will be followed by a good and delicious dinner. An incredible way to end the second day of this excursion.
Day 03
Erg Chebbi – Merzouga – Fes
This is the third day of this excursion; it is up to you to enjoy the sunrise and a good breakfast. Afterward, it will be time to leave for Fes, opting for the path crossing the famous Ziz Valley to admire the palm trees. You will also have a break in Azrou to visit the Cedar forest. An unforgettable moment to take pictures, especially since the forest is inhabited by colonies of monkeys that will add a touch of fun to your break. You can also have a cup of coffee or a full lunch before hitting the road to the Switzerland of Morocco. Once you arrive in Ifrane, you will marvel at the cleanliness and calm of this peaceful town.
