Day 01
Marrakech – AitBenhaddou – Agdez – Erg Chehbi
Join us on a 2-night desert tour in Morocco, starting with pickup from your Riad in Marrakech at 7:00 AM. Our first stop is the impressive Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved fortress cities in Morocco. The Moroccan government has worked to restore this historic site, which was once a stop for camel caravans trading salt and gold.
Next, we visit Ouarzazate, the city known as the "Gateway to the Sahara" and a popular location for Hollywood movie productions such as The Gladiator, The Mummy, Kingdom of Heaven, Game of Thrones, Prince of Persia, and Lawrence of Arabia.
On our way, we will experience the beauty of the Draa Valley before reaching Merzouga, where we will hop on camels for a 1-2 hour trek to our luxury Berber desert camp. The camp features private bivouacs with breathtaking views of the star-filled desert sky. Spend the night in a cozy Nomad tent for a truly unique desert experience.
Day 02
Chebbi – Merzouga – Todgha Gorge- Dades gorge -Ouarzazate
Start your day with a breathtaking sunrise view during breakfast. Then, embark on a journey through local villages and see the creation of unique artisanal crafts. Discover how Moroccans turn their natural resources, like fossils, into stunning works of art. Explore the Draa Valley, known for its stunning palm groves and river, and reputed to be the source of the best dates in Morocco. After this awe-inspiring drive, end the day with a comfortable stay in Ouarzazate for the night.
Day 03
Ouarzazate - Telouate - Marrakech
Embark on a scenic journey to Ouarzazate, the Moroccan city known for its film studios and ancient Kasbahs. Our tour will take you back in time as you explore the golden clay buildings, stunning scenery, and ancient monuments that make this city a favorite among film productions. Visit the iconic Kasbah of Telouet, a former luxury abode of Pacha Glaoui, now a popular tourist destination for Moroccan travelers. Walk through the crumbling passageways and get lost in the maze-like ruins of the Kasbah, admire the Andalusian style of decoration in the Harem and reception hall. After a memorable tour, we will return to Marrakech and drop you off around 4 PM.
